Being on Duty 24/7 in the ER puts us at risk for contracting diseases.
During my four weeks there, I've encountered patients with PTB. some are treated and just recently I came in contact with a PTB patient on its contagious stage. Paranoid as I was, I immediately donned my ever-trusted mask with hanky inside. Prevention is always better than cure.
